Welcome to PlayAlong. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the PlayAlong website, mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using PlayAlong, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.

1. About PlayAlong

PlayAlong is a sports technology platform that enables users to discover and book sports venues, participate in sports events and connect with other sports enthusiasts through features made available on the platform.

PlayAlong may work with independent sports venues, venue operators, event organisers and other third-party service providers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, PlayAlong provides the technology platform that facilitates these interactions and is not itself the operator of every venue or event listed on the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating or using a PlayAlong account.

If you are under 18 years of age, you should use the Services with the knowledge and supervision of your parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

Certain PlayAlong features may have additional age or eligibility requirements. Where applicable, those requirements will be displayed before you use the relevant feature.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for keeping your account credentials secure.

You must not create an account using false information, impersonate another person, attempt to access another user's account or use the Services for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

4. Sports Venue Bookings

PlayAlong allows users to discover and book sports venues and available time slots through the platform.

When making a booking, you are responsible for providing accurate information, including the selected sport, venue, date, time and number of participants where applicable.

A booking is considered confirmed only when PlayAlong displays a booking confirmation or otherwise communicates that the booking has been successfully completed.

Venue availability, operating hours, facilities, pricing and other venue-related information may be provided by the relevant venue partner and may be subject to change.

5. Payments

Payments for bookings and other paid Services must be made using the payment methods made available through PlayAlong or its authorised payment partners.

The applicable price, taxes, platform charges or other fees, where applicable, will be displayed during the booking or payment process.

You agree not to use fraudulent payment methods or attempt to circumvent or manipulate PlayAlong's payment systems.

6. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling and refund policies may vary depending on the venue, booking or event.

The applicable cancellation and refund conditions will be displayed during the booking process or communicated to you where applicable.

Where a refund is approved, it may be processed through the original payment method or another method permitted by the applicable payment provider.

7. Events and Tournaments

PlayAlong may allow users to discover and register for sports events and tournaments organised by PlayAlong or independent event organisers.

Event-specific rules, eligibility requirements, registration fees, cancellation conditions and participation requirements may apply. Users are responsible for following the rules and instructions of the relevant event organiser and venue.

8. User Conduct

You agree to use PlayAlong responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

You must not:

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
• Harass, threaten or abuse another user.
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Upload or distribute unlawful, defamatory or harmful content.
• Upload malware, viruses or malicious code.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the PlayAlong platform.
• Scrape, copy or commercially exploit PlayAlong data without permission.

9. Sports Partner and Playmate Features

Where PlayAlong provides features that help users discover sports partners or other players, those features are intended for sports-related interaction and participation.

PlayAlong does not guarantee the identity, character, intentions, behaviour, skill level or suitability of another user.

Users should exercise appropriate caution when interacting with or meeting another person. Where possible, meetings should take place at recognised sports venues or other appropriate public locations.

10. Chat, Blocking and Reporting

Where communication features are available, users must use them responsibly and primarily for legitimate sports-related purposes.

Harassment, threats, scams, spam, sexually explicit content and other unlawful or abusive behaviour are not permitted.

PlayAlong may provide blocking and reporting features. We may review reports and take appropriate action, which may include warnings, restrictions, suspension or termination of an account.

11. Venue and Third-Party Responsibilities

Sports venues and other third-party providers may have their own rules, policies and requirements.

Users must follow applicable venue rules, safety requirements, operating instructions and event rules while using a booked facility.

PlayAlong is not responsible for changes to a third-party venue's facilities, operating hours, availability or independent policies, except to the extent required by applicable law.

12. Intellectual Property

The PlayAlong name, branding, logos, software, website design, graphics, interfaces, text and other content provided by PlayAlong are owned by or licensed to PlayAlong and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit PlayAlong's platform or content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

13. User Content

Where PlayAlong allows users to upload profiles, images, reviews, messages or other content, you are responsible for the content you submit.

You must ensure that your content does not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.

PlayAlong may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, applicable law or the safety of our users.

14. Privacy

Your use of PlayAlong is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store and process personal information.

15. Suspension and Termination

PlayAlong may suspend, restrict or terminate access to an account or feature if we reasonably believe that a user has violated these Terms, applicable law or otherwise created a risk to the platform or other users.

Termination does not affect rights, obligations or liabilities that arose before termination.

16. Service Availability

We work to keep PlayAlong reliable and available, but the Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, network failures or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

PlayAlong does not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PlayAlong will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Changes to These Terms

PlayAlong may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, applicable law or our business practices.

The latest version will be published on the PlayAlong website or application. Your continued use of the Services after an update may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable in India, subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers or users under applicable law.

Before initiating formal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact PlayAlong so that the matter can first be reviewed and resolved through the available support or grievance process.
